Crewe Hall Hotel & Spa

Members of our team enjoyed a show around of Crewe Hall Hotel & Spa this past month.

This Grade I listed Jacobean mansion blends centuries of history with contemporary amenities, creating a venue that’s as inspiring as it is practical.

Set in 500 acres of Cheshire countryside, Crewe Hall Hotel & Spa is a great location for any kind of event you’re planning.

With 16 versatile event spaces, they range from the purpose-built Continental Suite, which accommodates up to 364 guests, to the richly decorated rooms in the Old Hall.

The Long Gallery is a grand space for up to 260 guests while the Drawing Room, Great Library and Carved Parlour are perfect for mid-sized gatherings with historic charm.

There’s also the Oak Parlour and Hatton which offer intimate settings for breakout sessions or private meetings with all spaces equipped with modern AV tech.

Once the business of the day is done, guests can enjoy fine dining as well as drinks in the cocktail bar before unwinding in the hotel’s spa,

EPIC SANA, Lisbon

Our events apprentice Annabel Thorlby-Wilson has just returned from a memorable fam trip to Lisbon, organised by SANA Hotels.

While there she stayed at the EPIC SANA Lisboa and was bowled over by the venue - a sophisticated and flexible place for hosting unforgettable events.

Whether you're planning a corporate conference, product launch, gala dinner, or private celebration, this venue combines elegance, technology, and convenience in one of Europe’s most vibrant cities.

In total, EPIC SANA Lisboa has 14 event spaces across two floors with a maximum capacity of 1,760 guests.

The hotel’s main ballroom - Morus Rooms - offers natural daylight, a ceiling height of 4.2m, making it one of the largest hotel meeting spaces in Lisbon.

The Vitis Rooms are a series of flexible meetings spaces which can be configured for workshops, seminars and breakout sessions.

And the Foyer Area is a spacious and adaptable zone for coffee breaks, exhibitions, poster sessions and networking receptions.

There are another six stylish spaces in the Mezzanine Level Rooms which give access to a private terrace.

Aviva Studios, Manchester

In the heart of Manchester’s creative district, Aviva Studios is built around two main event spaces.

First up is The Warehouse, a huge 21-metre-high space with a standing capacity of up to 5,000 people.

With a movable, full-height acoustic wall, it allows the space to be divided into various configurations which makes it ideal for concerts, exhibitions and immersive experiences.

Then there’s The Hall which is a more traditional performance space with a flexible stage and seating for up to 1,600 guests, or 2,000 standing).

Aviva Studios is the permanent home of Factory International and was created by the Office for Metropolitan Architecture (OMA) and is Manchester’s newest cultural landmark.
