Searching for the talent of tomorrow

The dawn of the North West Hub took place at New Century in Manchester and Sharon Bannister, our Head of Sales & Account Management for Meetings and Events, was there.

Since last January, The Power of Events – through its Schools Engagement Programme – has engaged more than 6,500 young people from 35 schools in the UK.

Those figures are now rapidly on the rise thanks to the North West Hub which aims to highlight what a rewarding industry we work in, showing youngsters that it could offer them a viable career path.

Ten sponsors and supporters – including Brighter and Clarity – helped ensure the North West Hub was formed, since then they have also put forward ambassadors are now attending various schools, colleges and events.

Sharon said:
