Miami was the destination for this year’s three-day M&I Transatlantic event – and our Project Manager Fraser Frodsham was there.
The event, based at the Loews Coral Gables Hotel, brought together top American buyers and the best European suppliers in Miami’s vibrant business hub.
While there, delegates were able to forge new partnerships through a networking programme including one-to-one meetings which took place each morning, destination activities and evening functions.
The trip began with a welcome dinner on the outside mezzanine floor of the Coral Gables, featuring live music, dinner, and drinks.
The next morning started with 1-to-1 meetings, followed by lunch before the group departed for an Everglades tour.
The experience was incredible, with airboat rides through the wetlands in hopes of spotting crocodiles and alligators and they did manage to see one!
The following evening, the group visited EAST Miami in downtown Brickell, where they enjoyed a sushi buffet on the 40th floor, followed by drinks at the rooftop bar.
After another day of valuable 1-to-1 meetings, the group headed to Fairchild Botanical Gardens for dinner and drinks.

Overall, the trip was amazing. It was great to connect withsuppliers from all over the States and now I am equipped with a wide array ofsuppliers and venues that could be utilised for future business if we have clientsthat want to hold events in America.
