Out and about - May
The team has had another month to remember as we were on-site at some memorable events, as well as being invited to a number of important industry meet-ups and site visits.

While you’ll have read about our efforts out in Montenegro above, we also gave essential on-site support to one of our pharma clients at their recent event in Dublin.
We also assisted our client, NIHR, at its latest virtual gathering and we were once again tasked with supporting our fellow event planners at Royal British Legion at some poignant VE Day commemorations.
The team were also in Derby offering on-site support for an event with a long-term client, in London to help at Evolvi’s 20th anniversary celebrations and assisted at a sales conference in Birmingham.
We also headed to DBF Events’ All About People Special Catalunya which brought buyers and suppliers together.
The event was hosted at the Hostel de La Gavina, where there were 1-to-1 meetings each day before dinner and activities in the evening.
We’re told the wine tasting at the Clos D’agon winery was extremely popular!
One of the team also headed out to Mykonos on a fact-finding mission last week – more on that to come next month.
There have been various site visits including to Co-op Live and Treehouse in Manchester and Leonardo’s Hinckley Island in Leicestershire –we also found just enough time to have a fruitful events team meeting, as well as take part in some important carbon literacy training.
Sharon Bannister, our Head of Sales & Account Management for Meetings and Events, headed to Wales for the latest mia Connect to take part on a Martyn's Law Panel.
Sharon also attended the inaugural Fast Forward 15 Mentoring Awards where our very own Georgia Suttie, National Operations Manager for VenueFind, Groups & Field Trips, was a proud finalist.
And Sharon was joined by Katy Nuza, Business Development Manager for Meetings and Events, at The PA Hub’s Liverpool Conference in Liverpool where we were an exhibitor.
