Supporting the next generation

Since launching in 2023, The Power of Events has been championing the UK Events Industry and its Schools Engagement Programme aims to inspire thousands of young minds into the industry.

The schools programme is now being extended even further, with Bath and Bristol now becoming part of it, with ambassador registration now live.

School engagements will start across the region by the end of the year, with the aim of reaching more than 10,000 young people in the first 12 months.

This initiative during the first academic year – 2024/2025 -engaged with more than 100,000 young people through 350 school visits, across the East of England, Birmingham, South Coast and Hertfordshire regions.

Brighter became part of the initiative earlier this year by joining the North West Hub (Manchester, Liverpool and Cheshire region), as did Edinburgh, with London also throwing its weight behind the scheme with its launch at the O2 on October 1.

It is hoped that by the end of next year, more than 250,000 young people will get a glimpse into the world of events.
