After the Centre’s latest submission, it has moved up from Bronze to Silver, reflecting its ongoing commitment to making events more sustainable, thoughtful and impactful.
The venue has gone above and beyond to weave sustainability into everything it does - from how it runs events to how it engages with delegates.

“The Derby Conference Centre has done an excellent job in achieving the Green Meetings Silver award upon resubmission. The team have demonstrated an awareness of green issues and have made an effort to engage delegates in the venue’s sustainability commitments. Highlights of their assessment included the protection of health and wellbeing, the promotion of the destination and its cultural heritage, clear communication of sustainability information and the promotion of sustainable travel options.”
