It's time to showcase our four venues of the month where we think would provide the perfect place for your next event.

Wilderness Reserve, Suffolk

If you’re looking for a venue that blends luxury with tranquility, Wilderness Reserve in Suffolk is hard to beat.

Set across thousands of acres of stunning countryside, this exclusive estate offers a unique backdrop for meetings, incentives and team-building experiences.

The estate is designed for complete seclusion, making it ideal for focused strategy sessions or confidential meetings away from distractions.

From its elegant manor houses to charming cottages, Wilderness Reserve provides flexible spaces for everything from board meetings to large-scale gatherings.

Beyond the meeting room, delegates can enjoy outdoor pursuits like cycling, clay pigeon shooting, and wild swimming - perfect for team bonding and wellbeing.

With beautifully restored properties and exceptional service, your team will feel relaxed and inspired throughout their stay.

Hosting your corporate event at Wilderness Reserve isn’t just about business, it’s about creating memorable moments in a setting that sparks creativity and connection.

The Barbican Centre, London

When it comes to hosting impactful corporate events in London, few venues rival the Barbican Centre.

Known globally as a leading multi-arts destination, the Barbican offers a blend of culture, creativity and cutting-edge facilities - making it a standout choice for conferences, meetings and networking events.

The Barbican is set for its biggest investment since opening in 1982 - a £191m renewal programme, approved by the City of London Corporation, will elevate the venue’s capabilities and secure its status as a global destination for both arts and business events.

This transformation is to revitalise creative, performance and conference spaces as well as enhance iconic features like the brutalist foyers, lakeside terrace and renowned Conservatory.

Accessibility will also be overhauled with new multi-faith rooms, upgraded way finding and full inclusivity across public spaces while essential safety and security upgrades will be carried out for decades to come.

For event planners it means commercial events will continue until June 2028, after which the Barbican will pause most programmes for one year to complete the works.

From summer 2029, planners can expect state-of-the-art facilities, expanded opportunities for bespoke experiences and even more flexibility for impactful events.

And being situated in the heart of London, the Barbican is easily accessible for delegates from across the UK and beyond.

Hotel Gotham, Newcastle

Housed in a striking Grade-II listed former fire station and police station on Pilgrim Street, Hotel Gotham blends heritage architecture with opulent design - complete with velvet furnishings, brass accents and theatrical flourishes that create a luxurious, unforgettable atmosphere.

The venue offers three unique, immersive event rooms that cater to different styles and sizes:

  • MESS is a private dining room (formerly the fire brigade’s mess hall) which is ideal for up to 20 people making it perfect for board meetings or intimate lunches.
  • GILT is located in the former courtrooms, this 1930s jazz‑inspired space accommodates up to 25 guests for private dining, cinema screenings or creative workshops.
  • And the upcoming Courtroom space is to open this year within the adjoining police station, which gives additional event space to host up to 120 attendees.

Hotel Gotham’s experienced events team (the “Gotham cast”) helps tailor every event from seasonal menus and craft cocktails to tailored AV and décor ensuring your day is seamless and impactful.

Just a stone’s throw from Newcastle Central Station, the hotel is easily accessible for local and national delegates.

With 57 stylish guest rooms and five suites - some wheelchair-accessible - it offers a comfortable, high-impact overnight stay.

After your event, delegates can continue the experience at Siren (a farm-to-fork restaurant) and FIRE bar, where weekend DJs deliver a lively backdrop. There’s also Club Brass, the hotel's members-only club, which offers sophisticated cocktails and private events.

The Westin Dragonara Resort, Malta

When it comes to hosting a corporate event that blends professionalism with an unforgettable experience, The Westin Dragonara Resort in Malta stands out as a top choice.

Situated on a private peninsula in St. Julian’s, The Westin Dragonara offers breathtaking sea views and easy access to Malta’s cultural landmarks, plus its central location means delegates can enjoy both convenience and the charm of the island.

The resort boasts state-of-the-art meeting facilities, including flexible conference rooms and outdoor spaces over looking the Mediterranean.

Whether you’re planning a high-level board meeting, a large-scale conference, or a team-building retreat, the venue can adapt to your needs.

With elegant rooms and suites designed for comfort and productivity, your attendees will enjoy a restful stay. Many rooms feature private balconies with sea views, perfect for unwinding after a busy day.

From fine dining restaurants to wellness facilities, The Westin Dragonara ensures every aspect of your event is elevated.

Delegates can recharge at the fitness studio, indulge in spa treatments, or network over cocktails by the pool.

Malta’s international airport is just a short drive away, making travel seamless for global teams. Plus, the resort offers concierge services to assist with transfers and local experiences.

Following the business of the day, Malta offers rich history, stunning beaches and vibrant nightlife.

And incorporating cultural excursions or team-building activities will make your event truly unforgettable.
